Paris, Lyon and Amsterdam

Got some pictures uploaded to Flickr.

Amsterdam: Stopped by there on my way back to NYC.

Paris & Lyon: The conference's agenda was so packed. Had only one day for Paris and half day for Lyon. Both my camera and cell phone ran out of battery quickly.

In Paris, I spent most of my day in Arc Trophe, Tour Eiffle, Trocadero, and Champs Elysees. Had chance to take a very short look only at Musee du Louvre and Norte-Dame. I lost my way a couple of times and pretty much enjoyed being lost. That is Paris.

Lyon, the used France capital with over 2000-year history, is now the 2nd largest French city. The greatest Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourviere and Theatres Romains are must-to-see. Said hello to Louis XIV at Place Bellecour. Its old town, which is a World Heritage, stands on the peninsula between two rivers - La Saone and Le Rhone. Didn't get time to walk through it.

(all pictures before "hotel ibis" are taken in Lyon while those after that are in Paris)
